BTW to do what i do for pedal height you have to remove pedal from car place it strategically in a bench vice to make adjustments. not a big problem but if you try to in a car you may bust plastic...

Until the source of the noise becomes more obvious check easy things to eliminate possibilities like header bolts cracked or loose pulleys converter bolts all things of this nature
