No evidence of contact with valley cover. Will continue search this afternoon for missing part. Found a spare pair of 857 I replaced when engine was new,one had collapsed. Going to pull apart and see...

Motor was built in 2015 so older lifters I guess....

Motor was built in 2015 so older lifters I guess. Don’t know when they changed. Will get back to it today and continue search for missing piece . Has to be there somewhere. Checked with a few sites...

Yes pulled the pan. Have looked in every crevice and can’t find other button. Guess I need to look harder it can’t evaporate 😁

No kidding. I’d sure like to know how long I’ve been running it like that. It’s been at least 6000 miles since intake has been off

Comp lifter fail

Pulled my engine out yesterday as I’m doing a swap from th400 to TKX. Heard something in engine as rotating engine stand. Pulled intake and valley pan and surprise
