I wouldnt worry about it. In my mind the crank sees more stress on number 1 and #5 from turning that that blower. For all those years that you ran it down the track you did fine .. But if it was me...

That looks like a discoloration on the surface . Can you scotch bright it off . I bet it will come off if you do. Probably got alittle hot.
