I think the best way to go is with the national seal #88186 but it seems no one has 1 in stock. Auto zone shows them but doesnt have any.

Got a sleeve repair felpro kit from Ames. Doesnt seem long enough as it is about a 1/4 " from bottoming on front of balancer. Ended up rolling over edges of sleeve on snout cause it seems it should...

Probably have less than 200 miles on rebuild. Harder to start also. have to crank 3 or 4 times to start. Before plugs were leaking at bottom of carb and guy who rebuilt said secondary pick up...

69 400 thermostat recomend

Sprayed some wd 40 on a rag and wiped it on hood...

Sprayed some wd 40 on a rag and wiped it on hood pan and also sprayed some on the top of the foam on carb pan. Drove it in 90 degree heat, so far so good.

Pulled rear drums and didn't find any problems...

Pulled rear drums and didn't find any problems but I will replace shoes since they were soaked with brake fluid and I cleaned up cause they only had a few hundred miles on them.

That could be the problem since its 52 years old and some bozo did a lot of work on it but most of it was Mickey moused. Wheels dont turn as much as it seems it should but I wouldn't doubt the drop...
