No I didn’t need a adapter plate. I had the wood spacer under my carb and decided to leave it under the Tbi unit for heat control. Fitech fits our intakes.

I’ve been driving and enjoying it. I’ve got over 500 miles on the system. I installed it at my 500 miles on the breakin on my motor. Now my motor has 1000 miles on it.

ACC are great. Had a set made for my 64 Catalina fit and finish is excellent. Another great thing is they’re 20 miles from me.

Thank you so much for that idea. I looked into the tank from the inlet port and found that the float was under the fuel. Reason it was like that is rheostat was bent on the pickup tube...

Drilled and tapped 1/2” Npt

Well after getting over the fear of drilling the manifold. I drilled and tapped it to 1/2” Npt. Was easier than I thought. Not very thick but it worked.

It rides and handles like a dream. Never rode in a stage coach so wouldn’t what to compare it too. I do know I can hit a curve at 60 and it hugs the road. It’s very responsive.
