This car is unusual in that it was ordered with the following options: 455 Y code with th400, A/C, tilt, PW, PDL, console, rear defogger but standard interior. I plan to change it to Deluxe interior...

Date code decipher help.

The date code on this 1974 T/A is "10A". Does this indicate the car was built on the 10th day of January? Thx.

I have trim code 576 on my tag. Does this convert to 761 which indicates a standard Black Interior? The tag also has "BLK" after the WS4. Thx.

Power door lock MOTOR options?

Are there any current options to replace or repair power door lock motors that are frozen up? I don't see these in the Ames book. Not FBC or NPD either. Thanks.

3M 05887

Purchased the 3M 05887 and borrowed applicator gun from a friend. Product worked well and I am pleased with results. Hope to apply paint this week. Thanks again everyone. Dave

Too much oil pressure.

My stock 400 puts out 80 PSI when cold (20-50 oil) and around 60 psi when hot at idle. Gauge is pegged when WOT. I am guessing that the builder put a high pressure 80 psi oil pump in some years...
