I agree. I'm shifting my 462 @ 6,000 but I have a forged bottom end. Its the rods and bolts that are limiting you. Believe it or not the crank is pretty tough.

Yea the calc says 11.72 if you believe those things. My goal is to hit 100 mph in the 1/8th. It should take me roughly 84 more hp to get there. Time for some serious plug reading and tuning.

All I had to do for my 2nd gen F body was get the rearward bent stick and it fits my factory console great. Since we are talking 67 Tempest I'm sure 66tiger has much more experience than I do.
