Look at the impressions on the piston.... almost identical to mine. If I had to bet, it sucked in the 5/16 threaded base of the same two piece air cleaner stud and then spit it out the exhaust valve.

Even trying to look in the cylinder with the scope hard to make anything out through the dark green coolant..

Driving the car I hear a metal rattle sound in the engine compartment, immediately recognized the sound as the aluminum air pan I immediately pulled off the road seconds too...

I pulled the rear end after smoking the bearings and cooking my right rear drum brakes fearing the worst inside.
Brought it the the Gear Shop pulled the guts to find the Axle...

Time to replace the gears in the rear end of my goat.
Running the original 400 block with with a nice rebuild, Turbo 400 trans with Dual Gate.
She's a cruiser. Highway and city driving....
