Ports are 2.2" tall and I have the felpro 1233 intake gaskets. I've got a fair amount of hood clearance to work with. Looking at manifolds and they don't really specify the intake port height.

The heads are the 72cc edelbrock performer rpm heads. I ordered them from butler and they set them up for me. The heads are straight out of the box with no additional porting done.

I'm working on changing some stuff up a little and took off my offenhauser 5499 intake to replace it with oem 69 pontiac intake. I have edelbrock heads and the ports seem too tall for this intake....

As far as I know .050 jets aren't even available. I'm running .095 primary jets, .070 secondary and 73-42 rods in my edelbrock 650s. This is on the 428 in my signature.

I finally got my new springs in. With the 2 heaviest springs timing is all in right around 2500-2600 rpm. I haven't test drove it yet but I'm wondering if I should maybe lighten the weights a little...

Would that be from the extended idle time? Otherwise I considered going down a jet size and up a rod size to lower the effective surface area in cruise by .003". I'm hoping this helps my cruise...

These are 2 of the plugs I pulled last week. Some are a little darker than these but most look similar. Again, there was quite a bit of idle time on these right before I pulled them

Ahh ok. So opening these up allows more fuel correct? My idle mixture screws are currently 1 turn out from closed and it Idles around 14:1. At this point it makes the best vacuum.

I removed both carbs to find the secondary transfer slot was exposed more than the primary carb's slot. After setting them equal and resetting idle this tremendously...

Stabbing the throttle does not make it stop dieseling.

After resetting the carbs and idle that seemed to help tremendously with a part throttle cruise to light acceleration stumble I had.
