do you have well or city water?
As a plumber I've removed more RO sytems than installed, not saying they are bad.
Insinkerator has a simple 201 filter and I believe a 601 for well water .

It would be the heating aspect of your system , instead of an electric coil in the A/H .
The benefits are
1 you keep your existing equipment
2 burn gas instead of electric
3 doesn't dry the air...
