It is? If a car is tagged and inspected its a street car IMO. Doesn't matter if it can drive a 1/4 mile or 500 miles, legally it can be driven on the street.

The 1/8th mile time is to give you a reference as to how "fast" the cars are. Yes the cars are trailored to the spot they are going to race, and all races take place on the street.
