Don't forget the RA 4 cam & Rhodes lifters. Spending close to $1,000 just to switch over to a roller cam is just cost prohibitive if one is just updating a cam profile. I thinks it's price gouging...

I don't what I did right but I had a `70 LeMans 4 dr wit ha 350 2 bbl & a 2.73 rear & dual exhaust and got 19 mpg, twice. Two consecutive tankfuls each at 21 gallons, going 400 miles using 91 octane...

1976 LeMans

I have a Grand LeMans at 4110 lbs. with a 350/Auto and a two series open diff. I think it's a 2.41 or 2.56. A 400/Qjet is going in and need a cam that will work with these gears for a year or so....

Obviously a tiring question, but how does one set up a P350 to run as good, and idle like a Chevy LS? Considering both engines have less than a 4.00" bore, one would think not to overlook the P350...

Upon engine teardown has anyone come across blackened rod & main bearings from a high mileage engine? would this be caused by the crank almost never seeing metal-to-metal contact?
