Was the car originally a straight 6 or a v8 car? For some reason I remember the harness being a bit different for the L6 vs 326V8 cars... on my 64 Tempest post car.

I bought a 67 3.36 posi rear end. I thought it was same width but its 1 inch wider. So I might break apart the 67 posi and install it in the 1964 axle instead. Any recommendations?
