I have the carter on a couple other cars and no issues but I only run non ethanol fuel as well 92 or 110.
That is a 62 amp Delcotron squirrel cage alternator.

I used a Carter with the screws and clocked it...

I used a Carter with the screws and clocked it 1-screw inboard to the engine for a perfect fit. The first 3-pics are before I clocked it, the last you can just see the hardline coming off the pump...
