Ordering system

I just ordered some things for my GTO . The search area is clunky and frustrating.

Ordering was slow and felt like I was on dial up

I did like the old on line catalogue system better

In my opinion, Doug's are the superior choice in headers. They fit better, are easier to install and don't leak at the flanges.
I have a set of Hookers on my drag GTO.....they are usually a 4 hour...

Tried a 3rd carb tonight ....It did the same thing, blowing gas out of the bowl...so it must be the mechanical pump...ordered a new one and will take this one off and get it checked out

Its easier with the radiator and all the pullies stc not there. Use a mini starter and don't put in until the headers are on. Cut the gaskets as Quick Silver suggests.....I have also used the engine...

We have a good Pontiac builder here in Edmonton....He has built street and racing engines for my self and friends here in the province. I don't know what it would cost to ship from Alberta to Ontario...

Try tapping an oil drain back (10AN) in the rear part of the head and run an external line down to the pan....and an accusump like others have suggested

thanks guys........at the end of the day, the choke was set a little rich, backed it off a bit and it is running perfectly again
