I ran it like this for 3 years without an issue. And it ran 12.30 in my 74 LeMans @ 3600 lbs and I drove it every day. I may be off on some of the numbers but it ran great...

It had cometic head gaskets on it and when the motor was designed they said they did not k ow it had a slightly stroked crank so they decked the block too far and did not find out it was stroked...
