there are two under the dash to take off steering...

thanks b-man I knew that the motor had the 7:6:1 compression but I thought that the piston might have eyebrows in them to get it down

if you got a 301 4bbl there is no after market...

it was 78 they stop making the 400 and put them...

it was 78 they stop making the 400 and put them in the 79's. the 301 is a pontiac and most of the parts are the same except intake heads and a few more things. if the shaker or the sticker say 4.9...
