@GtoFM: Yep, definitely checked to have good contact. Even made a strap to shortcut the ragjoint. These bolts should have good continuity.

Huh... so my hunch was right. Because that's what I already did - pulled a wire from one side to the other only to find out the whole shaft coming out of the steering gearbox does not have ground....

Help: Steering Rod and Gearbox do not align

Hi,

I had to swap out the steering rod bearing that goes in to the firewall on my 1966 LeMans. To pull out the rod I just swung the steering gearbox to the side while I was working on the bearing....
