70 gto carb build date question

Hi guys,i have a 70 gto and trying to figure out if my carb is the original one as far as build date,the motor is a k269 build and the carb date is 2879 , want to have it restored but if wrong then...

Yes did try rotating couple times,also I double checked oil plug front and rear. I've always used the rotella diesel oil I believe 15 40 in other pre prime pont engines and has worked ok.

70 400 oiling issue

i have a freshly rebuilt 70 400 and im priming prior to starting and cant seem to get oil to pass side oil galley,all oil plugs are in,have 95 psi,and have primed multiple times for about 3min each...
