Updating - the bulbs were delivered today, installed them (they fit, contrary to Amazon's guidance), installed them and they work with the original flasher and incandescent bulbs in the front...

When you say "they flash just fine without a resistor" do you mean that you didn't change the flasher from "stock"? I ordered these, but didn't order a new flasher.
