Would a bad battery cause these kind of weird electrical issues? I charged the battery until full, then also jumped it from my truck, but neither worked.

A battery would sure be a cheap and easy...

Thanks! Looks like AB code was only used in 1977, so "probably" numbers matching. I still can't find a decoding of the stampings that matches what I have here. Guessing K7 is Canada plant, 1977...
