I may not need this after all. I have a 69 carb that might be a good donor for choke parts. I'm using a buick 800cfm carb and swapped shafts to pontiac style. The pull off is also available.

In a similar way, I've seen a new platinum plug not fire at all, on two occasions. Just because it came out of a box doesn't mean it is good.

Look at comp 787-16. Those are for beehive springs on Non ls engines. I think vortec 5.7 heads use 11/32 valve and locks would seat deeper. I haven't dug into diameters to see if they would fit...

If that was commercially rebuilt it is likey those are steel tumbling media used to deburr castings. There was a thread on the buick forum where one of those fell out of main oil galley into bearing....

I have 4 swivel 10" pneumatic wheels. That was a mistake. Get 2 regular and 2 swivels. It's impossible to get all 4 turned by yourself.

I have some nos belts but wouldn't attempt to run them. They've been folded for 50 years. In my experience a cogged belt grips better. It's possible the pulleys are worn and or slick.
