TBH I don’t think the 2+2 is worth saving at this point. Thinking about moving the 421 tripower 4 speed setup into the 65 Cat Safari.

The current shunt for the meter is a tap in the wiring where it runs along the intake. The ammeter won't care what alternator you use, it will work as normal.
