TBH I don’t think the 2+2 is worth saving at this point. Thinking about moving the 421 tripower 4 speed setup into the 65 Cat Safari.

The current shunt for the meter is a tap in the wiring where it runs along the intake. The ammeter won't care what alternator you use, it will work as normal.

You can use the early stuff if you want to (knuckles and tie rod ends) with the 66 arms. shouldn't even need an alignment with just the control arm change...

The last picture looks like it goes to the kick down solenoid on a THM400 transmission.
