IIRC it was Bill Ceralli, 455 or maybe 433?, made 530 peak hp. Good numbers for 30yrs ago with nothing exotic. Don’t remember much else..

That is waaay too much weight. Either the tires have been stored/stacked incorrectly or the wheels may be buckled/kinked. I’d check dynamic balance to see how true the wheels run. Turning the tire on...

The plan was to build a 10-1 CR SD 455 in 1970, but did not work out. Chevy the cause ?

The thing we all fell in love with these cars over was idle - 5000 brutal torque. How can more of the same be a bad thing? Real world vs bench/keyboard racing..
