Don't know if this would help, but this is how I mounted mine under my 69GP. Tank is in the trunk. 10AN to reg, 8AN return. EFI set up.

Body Fun!

Started on the body work. Lot of fun:gag: I am installing a fiberglass bolt on hood. Are the hood hinges the same as the GTO? I don't see any billet hinges listed for a GP. See them for GTOs.

Update on GP

Sent the blower off for rebuild and polish. while it was gone, I bolted a intake and carb on so I can hear in run. Couldn't help myself. :D. Sounds great with the 3" Pypes exhaust, not to loud, just...

Thanks for the info guys,that helps out alot. I had a electric vacuum pump on my old car to help me stop but I didnt like how much noise it made. Thanks.

Summer time Heat!

Progress is slow but still moving forward. Between the heat and outdoor projects, its a wonder I touch these cars at all! But I say any little thing you do to them is a step closer to being done....

Headers Fit!

Installed the headers and they fit :). I will have to move the block for the brake line on the frame. Headers are to close.

Repaint

Wife wants a Candy Apple red GP, so I had to repaint the motor. Install and degree cam, button up the bottom end and install in chassis.

Going slow, but still going

Finish the rotating assembly, took 4hr to file fit the rings! Also put tires on the chassis. The 29 x 12.5 rear tires are close but they fit.

The replacement panels are from a 70GP that was cut up with a tourch. When I bought the 69, he through in the 70 to get it out of his yard.
