Hard to tell but in the second pic by his middle finger is that a nicked place lower on the shaft?

Looks like the crank bobweight just rotating...

Looks like the crank bobweight just rotating around. Very little clearance between that weight and the pump shaft normally.

I think its a leak at the head pipe where it is...

I think its a leak at the head pipe where it is attached to the manifold. Sounds just like when the donut gaskets would start going bad on the older cars.

Could be a broken spring under the plunger of the fuel pump. They will still pump but there is nothing there to take up the slack in the plunger arm. I have had this happen before and it was the last...
