The 'U' or 'V' etc were in the VIN. The cowl tag is just for the body at Fisher.They are all just basic Firebirds until they add the different configurations. (my 2¢)

The W66 does denote the Formula.

So it is good for a Formula.

BTW, this is probably an early 73 Formula.

Exactly, paint and body is the worst of problems to have unless you're a paint/ body person. Everything else is doable, engine, exhaust, interior, suspension etc.
