I looked through my files and couldn't find the Pad info;
Everything is logged as Interior pieces,
IIRC it was the better of the offerings at the time (mid 90's)

Yes, the padding around the column base gets removed so as not to interfere with linkage and such. The toe plate keeps everything in...
