You may have to drill a new hole in the lower area on the cars side to mount them correctly.

It really depends on where the factory drilled the original hole.

I have books for the 70 and 71 but my 72 body manual is missing a few pages and those are the areas missing.

That clears it up. Looks like it is a space saver for this car....

Prep those panles

Make sure you use TSP to clean and wash the material whether it be plastic or vinyl. then used SEM prep binder spray. Use a semi gloss clear over the top to keep the color from gettting scuffed off...

Only way to get it correct is to paint it in lacquer. Other paint will be close but never exact.
TCP global sells Lacquer and that is the best bet to get it the way you want it.
