The original round disc on the '67 I sold last fall looked more red to me, but the chart called it orange. And by the looks of it when removed, I doubt that it ever had a can a carb cleaner touch it....

It's difficult to tell in the photo, but does your decal have a clear gloss film over the printed part? That's how I can usually tell an original from an older reproduction. Pontiac began using those...

Nice find, congrats!! I lived in Bend & LaPine from the fall of 1994 to 2002 and I don't recall ever seeing that one. That car will make a fun driver for sure!

Yes, that photo was taken right after removing the original insulation pad and washing the underside. It is black all the way up to the point.
