Looking for something I can make work for my '61. Originality is not a concern of mine so a 63-64 will work for me as well

Do you recall what diameter fan are you running? Given that there isn't much judging this car gets, the '63-'64 seems a better option?

picture makes the clearance seem tighter than it is.. I can't see any performance loss in this case whatsoever in leaving it in place with my Len Williams 455. We've put quite a few miles on it both...

Yes, 3x.250 mild plate from the local ACE hardware. Got the crossmember from Frank's and was able to reuse the rubber frame mounts.

Funny, I just did this Saturday on the wifes '61. I didn't remove the outer box assembly or "shroud" in the engine compartment ,just the nuts . You do need the glove box liner removed and there's one...

I just disassembled the original one off the 389...

I just disassembled the original one off the 389 and installed on the 455 . Worked out like a champ..
