Are pontiac motors too heavy to lift with carb. plate

Hi, I am wondering if it is ok to lift Pontiac motors with the carb. plate I used it for lots of SBC motors but the Pontiac motor is heavy and the studs are small just wondering if any one has done...

Hi All,

alright all I cant remember witch is witch 66 vs 67 front fender what one has the two rounded pieces out of the wheel lip I thought 67 but I cant remember? thanks for you help.

1966 GTO 389 carter 4bbl Idle

Is this engine suppose to idle at 600 rpm I cant get it below 900 rpm WTF I spray brake clean and the idle goes up newly rebuilt carb.

Goatracer1 I tightened it already it doesn't come off the tube but if I spray brake clean at it the engine revs up I cant get it to seal.

I need the 4bbl carter guys help on this I have a bad Vac. leak at the rear of my carb. the brass fitting that goes in to the carb leaks bad I got the reproduction line...

ok, I got a timing light and set the timing to 8 degrees and drove it and it ran good no ping but not the power it should have (couldn't burn tires) set it to 6 degrees same thing does anyone know of...

carb was rebuilt and installed. stomp it...

carb was rebuilt and installed.

stomp it down and it pings all the way.
