I've ran my 517 with Moldex 3.25" crank to 8200-8500 with melling style pump, 80lbs. oil pressure. No issues on the main bearings.

Here in Iceland we have been using VP racing Lane Choice 7 or LC7 which suits our 55°to 65°F temperature very well and better than VHT.

The barrel of LC7 costs $534 and is pre cut and...
