Keep in mind that that stuff needs a rough surface to adhere to also. I would suggest scuffing the surface, especially if youre going to roll it on.

Same here, 70lemans...wifey came home the day after Thanksgiving with a new 22" Samsung for me. What I did to fix the stretched look was adjust the screen resolution. Id expect there to be other ways...
