I have a set of vin and body tags of a 69 GTO that I cut up for parts [it was a total] they will go into the grave with me.
that is the only thing they are good for

to make sure you have the valve relefs are ok...

to make sure you have the valve relefs are ok this is a old trick put a thin layer of clay about 1/4 of a in then put the head on with some bolts just hand thght with no head gasket put on one set...

they will work with the 65 389 do not go to wild on the cam the stock cam will work a stock cam for 65. on the intake will need a gasket that fits the heat riser hole
