1970 Ram Air III stock - noisy valve rocker

I have a stock, never rebuilt, 1970 Ram Air III 400 with roughly 70,000 miles.

I believe it has a noisy valve / rocker. My understanding of the RA III motor from 1970 is the rocker arm retaining...

Giving anyone the impression that it's a "numbers matching block" is quite misleading. Certinaly not the accurate wording I would want described...

Have a date code of "0C4" on a 1112024 Distributor.

How is that date code broken down? Is Match 4, 1970 correct? Typically I thought the code should be interpreted as follows: Day-Month-Year....
