68 vs 69 quarter panels

Is there any reason 68 quarter panels would not work on a 69 GTO other than difference in side marker cutout? I'm looking for a nice rust free or NOS set.

I have had a lot of request for photos here...

I have had a lot of request for photos here recently. Anyone know of a good solution other than Flickr to post a bunch of pics? I'm working on under the car shots.

As I might have mentioned, if I end up keeping this car, I plan to just fix the rust, replace the top, and preserve as much as the original paint as possible. It really is a time capsule.
