That really is infuriating that Coan wont own up to their mistakes. I looked at flywheel bolts also. But as you said, shoulders are too long including the ones made by Mr Gasket.

having the same problem with a new Coan converter...

having the same problem with a new Coan converter here. Both factory and ARP flexplate bolts hit the converter. Cant shim it as it is already within specs. so get to send it back and wait for...

Does anyone have a vintage Perfect Circle Catalog? I have a Perfect Circle #9-2112 timing chain set. I would like to know if it is standard or an undersized chain.

I ran a Crower 69019 with Rhoades lifters and an 80 psi oil pump. LIfters performed as advertised and engine had a smooth idle. later changed the oil pump to 60 psi and no change in idle quality.

All the GM NOS fenders I have seen had no holes. GM fenders have pressed in square nuts for hood hinge attachment, repops do not have those.
