I remember reading that. He wasn't the only one. My buddy has a 71 lucerne blue car that was also painted white sometime in it life.

The glass is in the car though I still have some adjustments to do on the door window tracks. I dug upnsome barrel/tubular nuts and put the letters on the tail panel
The carpet and interior are next...

I stripped the door mirrors and marker light...

I stripped the door mirrors and marker light bezels and put in epoxy primer. They will get painted next along with the rear spoiler and wheel flares, then installed.

The door guts have been installed and some...

The door guts have been installed and some assembly on the rear of the car has been completed. Next step is the rear glass, door glass , roof channel installed and weatherstrip.

Thanks. Normally I would of Blasted it with 000 sand but after hitting it with a red scotchbrite and some 400 grit sandpaper it looked pretty decent so I hit it with some RM 801 metal conditioner...
