I paid $200 CA to have my 3 core rad recored with a 4 core. Works well. I believe I have a Harrison Rad? Anyways the place that did it manufactures cores. 1 of the fellows there mentioned that they were looking at going to a new type of copper/brass core that would cool better than aluminum. He mentioned it would be a 1 or 2 row core with large tubes and it was supposed to be the cutting edge. I haven't been back since so I don't know if they ever retooled for them or if it was just a passing fancy.
