I lived this quandry: First had the spare cooler follow the Radiator, then bypassed the radiator. It's been 6 years. The Upstate NY cold winter didn't seem to hurt the TH400/10", as it has hit the tracks this season without whining.
Probably Ok to use the remote cooler, particularly in light of our [Poncho croud] knowledge to use efficient converters, even at 10".
Q: Hmmm, should I run the P/S fluid through the Radiator cooler? Naw.
