I think the owner got tired of moving it with him since he quit driving it in 82. It has lived in garages, carports, barn, and canopy cover. He had planned on restoring it someday but something always came up. I think it actually bothered him to see it deteriorate.

I need a Panasonic CX-601EU 8 track player. The mounting plate is still mounted under the dash where it was installed in 1972. I just need a working unit.
