i did that back in the 90's on a stock 78 w72 400, with headers. The t2 intake killed all the low end torque... Made the car noticably slower. later went with a performer and all the torque came back. I'd stick with the stock manifold unless you gotta have aluminum. then I'd go with the performer... fwiw
