I agree with some of that Tom but, getting outside the box like the V heads with convertible exhaust means nothing will bolt up, unlike the Dart BBC where all the support pieces are already in place.
The reason the Pontiac aftermarket stuff looks like OEM is so everything already available will bolt up.
It's a Pontiac by design, why would we want it to be something else?
