Just because I said I would. Today was the first day in a long while I was able to work on the car. I needed a sand blaster and I was going to get a Harbor Freight. A friend of a friend said they had an Eastwood they used once for $100. I figured it had to be better than the H.F.

It was probably only used once.......but it was probably 20 some years old. The seal was like jelly. Would not seal. $45 for a new one? It's only a rubber ring. So anyway after some cleaning out of the old seal and some thinking I cut out a square out of an old inner tube. Cut a slit for the handle and slid it over. Tucked it in the top and it worked great.

Once I got it sorted it worked great........until it started raining........I got about 1/4 done. The pic just shows the crusty rusty frame blasted on the end and rain drops. I sealed what I did get done and hopefully will be able to get the rest ASAP.
