Not that much, but all I tow now is a small flatbed.
Can easily beef up that crossmember or reach out to the frame rails on an angle. It's called "geometry".
You'd be surprised to know what that car has pulled with just a regular bumper hitch back in the day.
Hated that thing, kept getting in the way of the gas filler door!
