Good job on install. I will be doing same next week. I made templates for quarters off a parts TA. I have a beater drilled trunk lid, but will make a template from it to drill my nice one. Putting a drill to a good car is nerve wracking, eh?
I have a trunk rod to change (only one is thicker than what you / I have). Have to wait on that until I de-vinyl top the car at paint time, next year. Be running a primered spoiler for a little while. I really want to spray paint in orange letters on car "In Progress", but will resist.
