It's been a week already since driving down to Norwalk and the weather couldn't have been better...low to mid 80's and lower humidity than the usual past. The new motor ran cool and got 15.5 mpg average on the trip down & back (driving the back roads through lots of little towns). Even with the RAIV cam and 3.08 rear gears, it had plenty of torque and could pull away easily from 1200 rpm in any gear of the wide ratio M-20 4-speed. The only problem was the brake master cylinder starting to leak and will need a rebuild (original).
The picture is of the cars parked in the town square of Milan, OH just north of the race track.
