Generic fuel gauge/sending unit question
Does voltage matter in a fuel sending unit and gauge? Will a six volt sending unit/ gauge work with 12 volts or will it burn up from too much voltage? I know the other gauges in a six volt system will need to be changed or have voltage reducers on them if they are electric.
