1969. Can’t get in. Have to roll out and fall on the ground to get out. Rattles like a box or rocks. Rides like a wagon on a rock road. But…. When you’ve got that 412 SBC wound out and you’re slamming gears with the rock crusher, and she’s skating the 4.11s in every gear…. Wow! Totally different dynamic than the A-Body Pontiac and, one every car guy should experience at least once. This was a car I drug out of an old girlfriends garage and got running and sold for her kids after she passed. It hadn’t run in a decade. Was covered and filth and pretty well done for before I put the magic on it. Made good money. That said, it’s gone and, I get my 70 Lemans back next week and I can’t wait!
